At Hammers Law Firm, we understand the importance of pursuing higher education and it’s value in developing leaders. That is why we offer our Hammers Law Firm Annual Scholarship to contribute towards the education of a student who exemplifies high character and commitment to their community. Our scholarship additionally focuses on how injuries greatly affect their victims and their path to recovery. Below are our past scholarship winners:
Biography: “My name is Gabriela Rodriguez. I am a recent graduate from Edinburg High School in Edinburg, Texas and an incoming freshman at Texas A&M University. Growing up in a low-income immigrant family, higher education has always been my utmost priority. It is because of my background that I have chosen to pursue a Bachelors of Arts degree in History on a Pre-Law track. Upon my degree compilation, I plan to continue my education in a renowned law school where I will work my way to becoming an immigration attorney. My prospective career will not only allow me to provide immigrant families with a secure future, but also prove that financial privilege has no correlation to success. Additionally to my aspired legal career, I hope to one day work as a U.S. Senator and help socially develop our beloved country further. Outside of my academics, I love to read books, write literature, and play my guitar. I am thrilled to see what the future has in store for my family and I. Greatness often originates from small beginnings and it is that belief that has shaped me into who I am today.”

Pecuniary hardships have always posed a burden throughout my life and it is enlightening to see that a distinguished law firm has taken my education into consideration. The funds provided by this scholarship will allow me to cover the costs of everyday necessities, text books, and school supplies. Biography: “My name is Hannah Neymeyer. I am currently a junior at Concordia University Wisconsin pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with concentration in Cyber Security and a minor in Management. I have always enjoyed solving problems, but when I was a Cyber Security intern in high school, I knew exactly what I wanted to do after graduating. I was born and raised in Lisbon, Iowa where I graduated high school in 2019. I have two younger brothers Hunter and Henry. Hunter is a freshman at University of Iowa and Henry is a sophomore at Lisbon High School. I also have a black lab, Kinsey, who I love visiting when I go home. Outside of school I love being active in sports, especially basketball. I am very excited to further my career as an Information Security Analyst Intern this Summer at Sentry Insurance. After college I plan on entering the workforce in the general area of Information Security, with my dream job being a Chief Information Security Officer.”
Hannah’s Reaction: “I am truly so honored and grateful for receiving the award of this scholarship from Hammers Law Firm law firm. Attending college was not always in the picture for me due to financial troubles, but through hard work and perseverance I am extremely humbled to have completed over half of my undergraduate degree. Overcoming past and impending financial obstacles while paying for my college has been tough, but through the support of people like Hammers Law Firm law firm I am able to pursue my bright future in Computer Science. Thank you again for not only supporting my future, but for showing other young girls and women in similar positions that their dreams are worth fighting for.”
Biography: “My name is Chiara Chier. I’m a senior and valedictorian of my graduating class at Lourdes Academy High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I was born and raised, and continue to live, in Berlin, Wisconsin with my parents. My brother Caden is currently a Freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I also have two amazing chocolate labs, Stella and Luna, who I am going to miss very much when I go off to college. I very much want to be a nurse, and possibly a nurse practitioner. I am still undecided on exactly what university I will be attending. My top choices include Mercer University, Belmont University, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Nurses and health care workers are my heroes, and I can’t wait to be part of the system that has helped me so much throughout my life.”
Chiara’s Reaction: “I am deeply grateful and humbled by the award of this scholarship from Hammers Law Firm law firm. This scholarship asks students to describe a challenge they have had to overcome. I had to overcome some personal health challenges that shaped my life to a great extent thus far. However, with the help of this scholarship I look forward to putting those difficult days behind me. My future is bright, and now even brighter thanks to this opportunity from Hammers Law Firm.”
