17-Year Old Luke Crumb Seriously Injured in Gilmer County Crash

It’s hard to watch the news without seeing a story about a fatal car crash. And, no matter what, you can’t help but feel bad for the family. All you can do is say a little prayer for them and hope that things work out okay. But when the person injured in the crash is a young man like Luke Crumb who was injured in a Gilmer County crash, it can be very hard to bear.

In Gilmer County this past week, 17-year old Luke Crumb was seriously injured in a single-car accident. He was on his way home from school Tuesday night when, out of nowhere, his car crashed and flipped over. There were no other cars involved in the crash and no witnesses have been able to give the authorities any idea of what happened.

Crumb is a young student from Gilmer County High School. He’s a standout player on the football team and seems to be loved by all. After the accident, Luke was rushed to the local hospital to be treated for his serious injuries. Sadly, the authorities didn’t think he was going to make it.

On Thursday morning, the doctors completed an emergency surgery on Luke. His friends and family gathered at a vigil the other night. More than 300 people were in attendance.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, Luke’s family may have a legal claim for damages. If someone else caused the crash- or if there was a defect with his car – his family may be entitled to damages.

Now that the investigation is complete, the family of the woman killed in this crash may have a claim for damages.
