Deep Sentinel took its list of the safest neighborhoods in Atlanta from Neighborhood Scout. Across all Atlanta neighborhoods and crime rates, the top 10 safest neighborhoods in Atlanta, according to their list, were:

- Springlake/Memorial Park
- Brookhaven
- Hills Park/Bolton
- Vinings
- Druid Hills
- Pleasant Hill
- Brookwood Hills
- Marietta Street Artery/Georgia Institute of Technology
Interestingly, these Atlanta neighborhoods are located on the northern side of the city. While these neighborhoods in Atlanta are generally considered safe, the city as a whole has a high crime rate. Neighborhood Scout gave Atlanta a crime index of three, with 100 being the safest. This means that Atlanta is only safer than 3% of the cities in the United States.
